NEGRO IS THE NEW BLACK

A poster design to promote my new blog. Screen printed, letterpress, and xerox transfers were used to create the poster. In Spanish-speaking countries, such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile, negro is commonly used to refer to partners, close friends or people in general independent of skin color. Negrito has come to be used to refer to sentimental or romantic connotation similar to "sweetheart," or "dear" in English.
